Rotator cuff tear. took 100 mg tramadol hcl 6 hours ago. it hurt my stomach bad. since its been 6 hours can i try switching to 2 extra strength tylenols? drs office or pharmacy isnt open yet to ask. help!

Tram. is not Tylenol: Tramadol (single ingredient Ultram) is not acetaminophen (plain Tylenol), which means if a person can take acetaminophen without problems, she should be able to take the acetaminophen without regard to when she took the tramadol. However, if she took the 2-ingredient combination (acetaminophen plus tramadol, brand name Ultracet), then taking Extra Strength Tylenol 5-6 hours afterward should be ok.
