Tramadol: is a pain reliever that has been used as an alternative to opioids. It has no interaction with omeprazol. Tramadol can cause nausea, constipation but it does not cause severe gastrointestinal problems as NSAIDs can. The benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. If concerned ask your PCP for more information.

Hydrochloride: Most medications exist in a "salt" form and HCl salt is the therapeutic form of tramadol. It is made so that it can have a therapeutic pH for its intended function. It will not be harmful to the stomach as it is. You should not combine it with an anti-inflammatory drug such as ibuprfen when there are stomach symptoms. I hope this clarifies your doubts.
