Diagnosed with diverticulitis on sept15th 2017 went on 10 days of antibiotics metronidazole & ciprofloxacin 500mg finished the 10 days was feeling great no pain for 2 week & was following proper diet but went off course for 1 day now pain back why?

Recurrence?: In this context, the first thought might be a recurrence if the diverticulitis. Or a complication like an abscess? Or another inflammatory or infectious bowel disease? Regardless, you need an examination and a CT scan.
