Good day, my son is 6 years and 6 months and he recently started grade 1. i'm very worried about him because he showing signs of adhd. he struggles to grasp school work, he us app disruptive in class, hurts other learners and breaks school rules.

Get eval: I agree earlier eval better, need good child psychiatrist , probably needs a sensory processing eval(specialized OT) as this is often overlooked by practitioners . WRITTEN REQUEST for IEP (individual educational plan) eval from the school worth asking for sooner rather than later-should get testing that looks for learning issues and identifies what accommodations could help him .
