Monocyte count is zero. the rest of cbc is normal, b12 and folate normal, ferritin low normal. i have hashimoto's. i recently experienced a lot of stress and am exhausted from insomnia. currently have uri. should i be concerned about no monocytes?

No: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, one test result without monocytes is not a cause for concern. Wish you good health!

2yrs of CBCs show low fluctuating (< reference ranges) on WBC, Platelets, and Ferritin (iron serum norm) and high (13) monocytes. Should I be concerne?
I had a CBC that was normal. 7 days later, start Bactrim for Lyme. 5 days thereafter, CBC shows mild anemia (low: RBC, Hgb, Hematocrit), with normal iron/ferritin. Low Folate, normal MCV. IS THIS FOLATE DEFIC. ANEMIA OR BACTRIM: APLASTIC ANEMIA?
Does normal CBC mean I don't have anemia or shall I still test for ferritin and folate (folic acid)?
