Does a level 2 ultrasound have the same technology as a level 1 ultrasound? is level 2 able to see more things or it can because the tech is looking for more

Same machine: The ultrasound machine is the same in a level 1 and 2 exam. The level 2 exam is usually done later in the pregnancy so the Dr can see more of the baby’s organs and development. Sometimes a level 2 is called an advanced ultrasound or targeted ultrasound because they are looking specifically at the organs as opposed to a standard ultrasound done earlier in the pregnancy.
