Likely reflux: Reflux is likely involved in your symptoms as cough spells open the upper stomach sphincter, cardia, and you ended up vomiting. Gastroesophageal reflux might be the inciting event for the cough as well. Best would be to start with your PCP in order to secure a clear diagnosis.
