1 year old coughing: Check for asthma Bring child to doctor and ask to check for asthma can also be pyloric stenosis, reflux/ GERD , rarely muscular dysrophy or other neurologic issue Chocking aspirating can result in pneumonia f/u /w/ doc today

Is it okay to swallow phlegm? I'm unable to spit it out because it makes me feel like I'm choking or will vomit. I'm concerned if swallowing phlegm will make my sickness last longer or if it could have any other negative effects on my health?
Bad cough doesn't stop at all (coughing every 2 minutes at night time) and makes u want to vomit and feel that u are choking? It has been 1 wk now.
