Started choking on food when eating/swallowing.Throat full of phlegm. Constant lump in throat feeling always swallowing.Afraid to eat-there've been 2 times I almost didn't get food out of mouth/throat in time. Cough,rib/chest pain. Ideas/Help please?
Is it okay to swallow phlegm? I'm unable to spit it out because it makes me feel like I'm choking or will vomit. I'm concerned if swallowing phlegm will make my sickness last longer or if it could have any other negative effects on my health?
Bad cough doesn't stop at all (coughing every 2 minutes at night time) and makes u want to vomit and feel that u are choking? It has been 1 wk now.
1.I have a scratchy throat.. 2. Constantly clearing phlegm 3. At night if I cough hard I cannot breathe.. I have to take small breathes through my nose.. If I try to breathe hard I sound like I am choking.. Any idea what's going on with me?
Chronic cough, night sweats, choking on saliva since Dec. No fever, fatigue, sore throat, or allergies. Xrays, blood work clear in Jan. Ideas? Thanks
