A member asked:

Is clonazepam indicated in causing permanent cognitive impairments that persist indefinitely following use or do they subside over time following cessation? what would be the basis for this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Wouldn't think so: Such an issue would likely have led to removal from the market decades ago (first approved in 1975). There is always a possibility you had a personal idiosyncratic reaction (rare). However, I would wonder if this is more related to whatever led them to use the drug on you to begin with. The problem is not the drug but could be another disorder worth pursuing.
