I am experiencing a bit soreness in my throat and i am afraid if i got strep throat and what should i do. my labmate was diagnosed with mononucleosis last week and he has been taking rest since then. i am worried if i also got sick.

Take it early : Best would be to see your doc if possible. A physical exam with tests including rapid strep and testing for mono will likely clarify the diagnosis.
