Posterior pillar of the palatine tonsil swollen one side? what causes this.. its been like that for a while.. theres no pain or anything like that every now and then i get a sharp pain on that side thought.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Unilateral lesions are more of a concern. It would be prudent to see your doctor, preferably an ENT doctor. Wish you good health!
