Orthopedist: You should consult a orthopedic surgeon to ascertain if surgical decompression may be needed. Some time steroid/enzyme injections into the disc may resolve the issue. If you are overweight, losing weight may help. Wish you good health!

When providing recommendations for sciatica the physical examination is very important, an MRI is secondary info. Many more details are needed to approach your abdominal symptoms. Do you have nausea, vomiting, fever, diarrhea?
