Can worn out discs at l5 and s1 be cured? the pain is uncomfortable to the point where i have difficulties sitting and performing other daily tasks. no sharp pain or sciatica. just dull, nagging pain in the area. mri also shows the discs bulging.

Low BAck pain : I have seen over 20 thousand patients with low back pain. MRI findings do not dictate a patient's symptoms or outcomes as much as a physical examination. I have seen patients with a normal back MRI disabled and another with a horrible MRI without symptoms doing heavy labor. Don't focus on the MRI, focus on asking your doctor what you can physically do to improve your condition.
