Circumcisions are done for religious and cultural reasons, but the procedure is never exact. The amount of skin cut off can vary. The amount the penis will grow, vs. the amount the skin will grow, over the next 20 years is not predictable in a particular child. Thus, a pediatrician's exam helps.

Let it be: If your intent on a revision a urologist would be the one to call. But if older than 4 wks, the procedural requirements often change & general anesthesia may be required. Many will not do this until the kid is at least 1 yo if the need persists. In many the residual skin just fades back & is not a problem after a few months. I would not push to have it done until later if then.
