Hi there, i've been struggling with a sore throat for the last 4 days. there's a little lump in my throat. not sure if my lymph nodes are swollen or it has something to do with my tonsils. i can't chew or swallow properly. do i need an antibiotic?

Probably: Your need to get tested to exclude streptococcal infection. If you have bacterial infection , you will need antibiotics. For symptomatic relief, gargle with warm salt water and take acetaminophen for pain. If you have fever, it would useful to see a doctor at the earliest.
