Travelling from uk to thailand flight in febuary. as i have mild asthma if i get a flu jab in uk produced for the northern hemisphere can the flu jab affect the immune system leaving you open to catch other viruses while body produces antibodies?

No: The flu shot doesn't weaken your system to other challenges. It would not change your susceptibility to other new germs. If you catch something you would anyway.

Flu vaccination: The flu vaccination reduces the likelihood of becoming ill from the influenza virus. Take your asthma action plan with you, along with your inhalers. Healthtap offers virtual consultations if your asthma flares up in a new environment. The flu vaccination does not weaken the immune system.
