Look for help: There are many cities/counties that have mental health clinics for the under served population. You can also find these affiliated with teaching hospitals/medical schools.

Primary care Dr help: About the curse of having health anxiety... normal bodily sensations and abnormal bodily sensations all are perceived as signs of illness, making it very difficult for either the patient or the doctor to tell when the patient is actually sick (other than suffering the sickness of health anxiety). The patient must teach herself which of her pains, cramps, sniffles, etc., are normal. Meds may help.

If you cannot afford psychotherapy please contact Medicaid to receive health insurance that will cover this. If you are not eligible for Medicaid please look for a clinic that offers help.
