A member asked:

I have the following symptoms: chest tightness, headache, cough and generalized weakness. was at the dr yesterday, got antibiotics, cough syrup and acc200. am i ok, must i just let the medicine work?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not exactly: Generally, a patient doesn't "must let the medicine work" but instead must recall what the instructions from her doctor were. In other words, what did the doctor say would happen in the next 24-48 hours, based on the condition of the patient during the last visit? If a patient cannot remember what was said at her visit, she can call the doctor to ask. It's hard for others to guess what happened.
