I usually have heavy periods with painful cramping. i started my period yesterday and experienced no pain at all and it seems pretty light. is this anything to be concerned about because this is abnormal for my cycle ?

Light period ?'s: Regular periods which are "heavy with cramping" that suddenly have light bleeding and no cramping may indicate delay in ovulation or early pregnancy. If pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain. If not, you might want to inquire with your gyn about using low dose oral bcp's, which will greatly modify your heavy bleeding and cramping.
