Right away, but...: By the time an embryo gets called a fetus (10 weeks pregnant) he or she can move already. Movements can be seen on ultrasound. A pregnant woman may start feeling tiny flutters when the baby fetus grows older and bigger such that baby movements can be felt in the fifth month of pregnancy. Some women have more bodily awareness or perception and feel baby movements a couple weeks sooner than average.
