Went to doctor and hospital. fever for 12 days. spikes in morning and evening. goes away during day. test come back negative. they believe it's a viral infection. is there any way to speed up recovery?

Fever: Stay well hydrated and keep a log with symptoms experienced. After 3 weeks and depending on how high temperature is, it becomes fever of unknown origin and deserves a thorough medical evaluation. Stick with same doc/ hospital for continuity of care. All details matter, such as travel and family history.
