My 15 month old son has a bad rash on his leg, we went to a gp who said it was macular papular rash bit he wasnt showing any other symptoms so no treatment was needed but the rash itself is getting worse ?

Some ideas: Macular papular is just a descriptor that means the rash is in patches & raised up in places. It does not imply a clear cause or treatment. When localized they often are triggered by a bug bite & would persist until the body has processed any bite material. Some improve with antihistamines.
