Toddler had 102.1 fever that began around noon yesterday, but woke up with normal temp. temp eventually went up to 100 or so, but no other symptoms other than irritability and swollen gland behind ear. dr visit or wait it out?

Fever: Monitor temperature and treat the fever with Motrin or Tylenol. If there is persistent fever for three days or more, please see your Pediatrician. Watch for signs including rash, other swollen glands, red eyes and swelling of the extremities. If these occur, please notify your Pediatrician.
