Think i have a somewhat swollen gland on the back left of my neck.no fever been having minor headaches for days and pain from neck to around ears and temple. yesterday had shooting pain up my back.this is all so sudden and random. ideas?

Seek medical attn.: This concerns me. Sounds like a cyst or abscess that requires removal and antibiotic therapy. Because it is on the neck with pain radiating into and around your ears, this can be dangerous because your brain is not far from that area. I advise you to seek immediate medical attention.
