My daughter is 8yrs old and complains if her ear is touched, the whole way around the outside of the ear. i don't feel any swollen glands in that area. she has no fever & behaving normally, other than the touch pain?

Exam advised: Infection of the ear drum is common in children. For this reason I think your child should be examined by her pediatrician if this symptom persists.
