Red bump inside nose right at the nostril opening also small pimple on the outside of nose just on one side what is this? should i pick at it or leave it alone.. earlier the outside of my nose was red and tingling now its not. it also itches

Ideas: This is likely a oil gland infection at the base of a hair root, (folliculitis).Applying moist heat will sometimes improve circulation enough that it will spontaneously drain & heal. If you pick it the infection can spread to surrounding tissues & create a noticeable scar or need more aggressive treatment. Applying antibiotic ointment just inside the nasal outlet can also help.
