A member asked:

Ive lost 60 lbs by diet and exercise. now my bp is low. it runs 90/60.the other night it was 80/55. thats scares me. i exercise everyday. dr said i was probably dehydrated. my normal seems to be 90/60 is this ok? im asymptomatic.

Asymptomatic ?: Weight reductions helps to reduce high BP. In your case if it reduced the normal BP, but you are asymptomatic ,then no need to worry as long as you are not confused, hear rate is normal between 60-100, urine output is good and skin colour is normal and not pale. Low BP affects the tissue perfusion(blood supply) and if you don't have symptoms of poor perfusion it is okay not to be worried
