A member asked:

I eat a low sodium diet- i keep it well under 1000 mg a day yet my sodium tests come out 139-145. is this indicative of a problem? not dehydrated.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sodium: Blood sodium levels of 135-145 considered to be within normal range. If your sodium is closer to 145 your body might be a little dehydrated. Make sure you keep your body hydrated all the time.
