Ulnar nerve: There are two main nerves to the hand. The median nerve controls feeling to the thumb, index and middle fingers. The ulnar nerve controls feeling to the small finger and little finger side of the ring finger. It also controls most of the small muscles in the hand. Carpal tunnel surgery helps the median nerve. You could have entrapment of the ulnar nerve at the elbow. Get it checked out.
