Your question ?: ADHD and its related disorders of focus are often first perceived by those who try to teach groups of kids their age. It becomes as easy as separating them by height or weight comparison. That said, a problem with their activity level/focus does not indicate whether they are part of a group that would respond to various medications, behavioral therapy (talk) or need both. Have the kid evaluated.
