A member asked:

How many pregnancies end in miscarriage? does a low weight, smoking tobacco or smoking marijuana drastically increase the chance of miscarriage?

Hard to be sure: A cited statistic says 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. However the number may actually be higher (33+%) because some conceptions fail to implant or shed before there is evidence of pregnancy to alert the person of the event. Good data finds frequency declines as the pregnancy gets longer. Poor health low weight,,smoking in any form all can contribute to this process.

DRUGS: Best to discuss drugs with your Gynecologist. If uncomfortable with your Dr. consult another for a second opinion. Fears and anxiety could be heightened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe & hopeful to elevate your immune system.
