Hard to be sure: A cited statistic says 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. However the number may actually be higher (33+%) because some conceptions fail to implant or shed before there is evidence of pregnancy to alert the person of the event. Good data finds frequency declines as the pregnancy gets longer. Poor health low weight,,smoking in any form all can contribute to this process.
