My 20 year old daughter got bitten by a rotveiler farm dog at about 16:00 on saturday. the puncture wound is not red but her hand is swollen and very sore. she has been vomiting since 3am. all sites say infection only happens after 24 hours. ?

Get her seen: A dog bite to the hand is in easy place for infection to quickly become a major issue. Mouth germs penetrate & get into the deep spaces. Get her seen as soon as possible. Quick treatment can prevent progression to the point hand surgery/IV antibiotic treatment for weeks could be required.
