A member asked:

I feel pain around my right chest; would that be liver pain?

Unlikely: The liver is an abdominal organ that feels pain when its capsule, or fibrous coat, is stretched or torn. Swelling, such as one might expect from an acute condition like new onset hepatitis can cause such pain, but that is usually felt just below the ribs. Liver tumors (even benign ones) could cause pain also. A quick trip to an urgent care for a physical exam will help.

Many possibilities: Right sided discomforts could be liver inflammation, right lung problem, rib injury, gastritis, gallbladder, right kidney, etc. Need a complete medical history & physical exam.
