Im having pain in my mid upper right side of my back and a discomfort in the mid right side of my chest as well. could that be liver issues?

Could be: The liver is situated in that area, so it is possible. Any pains if persisting, should be evaluated by the Dr. and they can do a history and Physical on you and determine the most likely cause. best wishes.

Probably not: It is too high in locAtion . If it was your liver it would be lower on the right and down below the ribs for the most part. Liver usually does not hurt but cause other problems like nausea and vomiting
