A member asked:

Is it normal to have a fever for laryngitis first, and then a few days later, another fever for bronchitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can happen: Laryngitis from infection is usually a viral illness which may be followed by a head cold or bronchitis with another fever. However I would be concerned if the fever was high with shaking chills, sweats and deep cough producing copious discolored sputum. These would indicate a secondary bacterial pneumonia which is much more serious than bronchitis. However bronchitis needs treatment also.
