Hi. lost my voice 9 days ago. went to dr 25/5, she confirmed laryngitis. shooting chest pains and upper back, back to gp 30/5, said it bronchitis. voice still not back and chest and back still sore, should i worry as ive been to the gp twice. ?

Not yet: This timeline is still consistent with a viral bronchitis and laryngitis. Shooting chest and back pains are nonspecific and not necessarily indicative of more serious infection. Worrisome symptoms would be fever, chills, sweats,heavy cough productive of discolored sputum, sharp chest pain with a deep breath, wheezing and shortness of breath. Any of these symptoms would warrant another examination.
