Under my right armpit only, there is a small red spot on the top of the armpit close to the bicep and when you apply pressure, it is tender, feels like a bruise and there is a tiny bump. not sure if this is inflammation of a gland?

Possibilities: Many possibilities among which irritation with inflamed lymph node or an inflamed cyst would be among the most common. Wear loose cotton shirts in order to avoid friction, talk to your doc if symptoms worsening.
