Folliculitis: Any time that you remove hair from you armpits (or really anywhere) you can irritate the hair follicles and get an infection in the follicle and this is called folliculitis. These small bumps usually resolve on their own. You can apply some warm compresses to speed up the process. It is best not to squeeze the bumps.
