I use the nuvaring. my box says the rings are good for a year, but my pharmacist wrote a sooner expiration date, which just passed a couple weeks ago. i immediately changed rings to a new one today, am i still protected? or do i have to wait 7 days?

The box date: is correct, if they are kept at room temp or in refrigerator, too hot, cars and such can cause problems with effectiveness
