A member asked:

My neurosurgeon keeps adjusting my vp shunt and i either overdrain on low settings or underdrain on high settings why is this? should it be replaced? adjusting it is just making it worser but they dont do anything else for me which is annoying.

Communication: This is far from straightforwards, and appears there are potential communication issues which need to be resolved. Am referring your request to an HT neurosurgeon, but if shunt can be adjusted, it is likely functioning. Maybe best that you have a meeting with your doctors and discuss your responses.
