Early HIV symptoms: If one gets symptoms early in their infection with HIV it is in general like getting the flu. One has a severe fatigue. But, please remember and learn that if one has a high risk exposure the infection can be prevented. Post exposure prophylaxis (pep) can be initiated within 72 hours of exposure and the efficacy of this prevention technique can lower the risk of infection up to 2000 percent.
