Maybe/not: A stye is usually a bacterial infection of a gland near the root of an eyelash at the edge of the eyelid. The tear glands within the eyelid can also become inflamed & this triggers a chalazion, often more central within the eyelid. Both may respond to heat/warm compress but you may need treatment. Your doc can sort it out if it doesn't self heal.
