Many possibilities: A toddler who is throwing up and having diarrhea can see his primary care doctor, who can evaluate and offer advise and medication as needed. Common causes of such symptoms are the stomach flu, food poisoning, ear infection, influenza, toxin ingestion, or other infections. Many times, we don't know the exact cause even after an exam, but just help with symptom relief. His doctor can help.
