I'm taking augmentin for tonsillitis and i just got my period two weeks early. i'm on the mini pill.

If you are breast: feeding and using the mini pill every day, bleeding can be unpredictable. Augmentin would not decrease the contraceptive effectiveness of the mini pill, only rifampin (TB drug) has been proven to have this effect. If not breast feeding, the mini pill is not as efffective for contraception as a combined pill.
