Tonsillitis with white puss all over ,i took augmentin for 2 days and still the fever and throat pain are there,throat is swollen i cant breathe,help?

Tonsilitis: Has a throat culture demonstrated strep bacteria? If not this could be a viral infection or infectious mononucleosis which don't respond to antibiotics. However since you've begun the augmentin I recommend taking the full course. In severe cases of tonsillitis a course of corticosteroid medication is often prescribed. Severe throat pain may be due to abscess formation. Consult an Otolaryngologist
