IBD - auto immune D : Symptoms depend on the extent and spread of inflamation.Symptoms are often worse early in the morning.Symptoms may be mild or absent for months or years at a time. However, they will usually return without treatment and vary depending on the affected part of the colon. 5 ASA is the standard Rx for mild to moderate symptoms .If symptoms become severe, Steroids are added.
