I'm 8 weeks 3 days pregnant. had a gynae consult yesterday and said heartbeat is only 81bpm and size of fetus is measuring 6 wks 2 days. i was told its possibly a failing preg. i was not put onto any hormones such as progesterone. get a 2nd opinion??

Plan for follow up: i would clarify with the doctor what the plan for follow up is. If I was faced with this situation I would repeat the sonogram in one week.
