Had sutures removed 24 hr ago from arm surgery. one side was sore so i put poly on it. changed bandage and a little thick white pus came out followed by clear drainage. area swollen but not red. cleaned and put more poly on it. is this normal?

Yes if no more pus: The wound should continue to heal with no pus and less redness, to be almost closing by end of first week. Increased redness, swelling, pain and failure to close indicate infection which requires follow up with surgeon
