Maybe. Maybe not.: A person in his early 20's with aches around the chest, shoulder, and neck areas can see his primary care doctor to be evaluated. Pains can come from neck and shoulder muscles, the ribs and their joints, the lungs, the nerves coming out of the spinal cord, etc... If one feels pain is coming from the heart, has a tight chest pain, or has past heart disease, he can get seen at the ER.
