Ankle: Discoloration of ankle would most commonly be associated with trauma. Ankle sprain or damage to ligaments would cause this. Vascular problems can turn the ankle blue or discolored. Infection can, but this would be severe. Odd conditions such and agyria or silver toxicity possible, but uncommon.
